Steve StrongChief Operating OfficerMr. Strong comes to Signature Retirement Living with over 13 years of experience in the seniors housing industry, including positions with Long Term Care,Independent Supportive Living and Assisted Living operating companies. Prior to joining Signature, Mr. Strong acted as Vice President, Operations at Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT,with direct oversight of 70 retirement communities, along with national programs pertaining to Food Services, Life Enrichment, Resident Care and Policies & Administration. |

Kathie KoebelVice President OperationsMs. Koebel started her career as a Registered Nurse in Kitchener, Ontario and was quickly promoted to Chair of the Nursing Advisory Council and the Professional Practice Council while simultaneously managing several surgical departments. 12 years ago she moved to the retirement industry and joined Central Park Lodges (of Retirement Residences REIT, now Revera), first as an Executive Director and then as VP, Operations with a portfolio of 45 Ontario residences. Ms. Koebel was an ORCA regional President for two years and held the chair of the Waterloo Region Elder Abuse Committee. In 2007, Ms. Koebel then joined V!VA Retirement Communities as Chief Operating Officer. With such an extensive and varied background, she is a valued member of the team and advises on various business and senior matters. |

Amanda PearceDirector of Human ResourcesAmanda Pearce joined Signature Retirement Living in September 2018. With over fourteen years of experience in the Retirement and Long-Term Care industries, Amanda has spent the last eight years focusing on Labour Relations and Human Resources. In her HR practice, she started in Labour Relations, managing in a multi-union complex environment before moving into more HR/LR intensive management roles. As a member of the Leadership Team, Amanda’s focus is to implement and drive HR practices that support Signature’s long-term strategic objectives and is responsible for providing collaborative HR support including: recruitment and retention, employee relations, human resources policies, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Ryerson University. |

Kerri SharpDirector of OperationsKerri started working with Older Adults when she was in high school as a dietary server at a Retirement home in Oakville. Knowing this field was her passion she moved on to study Gerontology and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University in Hamilton. After graduating Kerri managed a home care agency and then made a successful move to Chartwell Seniors Housing wearing many hats during her 10 year career there, most notably converting twin apartment towers into an integrated, 320+ suite independent living community. She developed programs including food services, recreational activities, and healthcare amenities for her residents. In 2013 Kerri moved to Signature Retirement Living to open Walden Circle Retirement Community in Clarkson and together with her team reached occupancy in two years. In Kerri’s new role as Regional Director of Operations she will be supporting the Ontario properties to ensure a high level of resident and employee satisfaction and engagement and to maintain the quality standards Signature properties are proud to provide. |

Lana MadaniDirector of Sales and MarketingMrs. Madani joined Signature Retirement Living October of 2011, and brings with her over 8 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in the Senior Housing sector. During her career, she has had the opportunity to work in several properties throughout Ontario; always with a focus on ensuring that the value proposition of the property and sales strategy were aligned. With a solid track record in sales, Mrs. Madani primary focus is multi-faceted as she is a proven relationship builder, trainer and sales professional; all required as the foundation for a successful building. Mrs. Madani’s boundless passion can be felt throughout the various properties she works with, and it is clear that she has found the perfect fit with Signature. |

Roselle SerranoDirector of Clinical Care & QualityRoselle Serrano joins Signature Retirement Living as the Director of Clinical Care and Quality bringing with her an extensive amount of clinical and leadership experience in Alberta and Ontario. In her over 20 years of experience, Mrs. Serrano’s passion and focus has been in the health care industry in various roles such as health care aide, staff nurse, resident care manager, director of care, administrator, and senior clinical leader. Outside of the continuing care setting, Roselle has also served as a staff nurse in a surgical/medical/palliative unit, clinical instructor/supervisor for a PSW program, and a community health care coordinator specializing in palliative care. She is responsible for providing leadership to ensure the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of clinical care and services. Roselle is also responsible for the development, implementation, and management of all clinical and quality improvement initiatives, which includes the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and educational curriculum that ensures Signature Retirement Living is the leader and home of choice delivering the highest quality services to our residents. Roselle Serrano earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Wesleyan University, completed Nursing Refresher Program Certificate from Grant McEwan University. Roselle holds certifications in Gerontology from the Canadian Nurses Association, Leadership in Continuing Care from Conestoga University, and RN Prescribing from Athabasca University. |
